These two college students are near and dear to our hearts here at the Phoenix Gold Mine. We can't say enough about their work ethic, their character, and now they will be able to show off their TALENT! Join us on December 22 at 5pm for the most unique performance you will ever see, an underground gold mine string concert featuring Kennedy Scott on the cello and Lauren Oeser on the violin. Lauren performed solo in 2022 and we are VERY excited to have Kennedy on the cello to perform with Lauren this year!
Here is just a little bit about these wonderful young women who are not only employees of Phoenix Gold Mine but are friends as well...
LAUREN OESER: Lauren has been attending Boston Conservatory at Breklee and is in her junior year of college, where she majors in Violin Performance. Lauren's loving parents are Dave and Bobbie Oeser. Chris is Lauren's sibling and a former employee and friend of PGM as well! Here is a shout out to Lauren's best friends- Shannon and Kit (who is a former employee... are you surprised?) Lauren's favorite colors are purple and blue. Her favorite band/musical artist is Phoebe Bridgers. We are so lucky to have Lauren, her family and friends as a part of our family and friends as well.
KENNEDY SCOTT: Kennedy has been attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where she is finishing her senior yearr of colleeg as a Elementary Education major (Kennedy is studying to be a teacher!). Kennedy's loved ones include her parents, Sean and Andrea Scott, and two younger sisters, Campbell and Canyon Scott; and boyfriend, Bryan Goar. Kennedy's favorites are the color purple and the band, AJR. Kennedy is a mountain biker and hoping to finish her teaching certification soon. Kennedy has done everything around the mine including guiding tours and laying railroad. She has been a wonderful addition to our team!
